Hilti Outperformer is a global management development program like no other. Over a two-year period, we’ll prepare you for a global leadership career by putting you right in the center of our customer-focused business model and giving you full responsibility from day one. But don’t be daunted. Yes, it’s fast paced and challenging. But we’ll closely coach and mentor you while broadening your experience through a range of international management projects and a hugely impactful social project. You’ll also get the support you need to learn, grow and carve your own career.
Your program in detail:
12 months as an account manager in the country where you apply.
3 months on an operational project at national headquarters. It could be logistics, HR, finance, marketing or engineering.
6 months on a strategic project at regional headquarters.
3 months on an international project outside the region.

Over a two year period you will have exposure to mentoring from senior management, attend leadership and business management training (IMD business school in Lausanne, Switzerland), and work on a number of strategic and social projects to “build a better future”. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain exposure to a range of functions – you will start in a sales or engineering role for 12 months before having the chance to explore other business functions both locally and internationally.

- A master degree or above in Business or Engineering, with less than 2 years working experience in a professional environment
- International experience through studies, internships or working in a multi-national company
- Professional language skills in English, German and ideally a third language
- Engaged in activities beyond studies and demonstrate great leadership skills
- Passionate about learning a business from the ground up in order to one day lead the business
- Flexible Team player with excellent analytical and communication skills
- Willing to relocate internationally for both short and long term
- Being able to attend the Assessment Center 9th – 10th April 2018 in Germany
Once you have successfully passed the first interview, we’ll nominate you for the Assessment Center. As part of our process, we’ll take you on a day-in-the-life ‘field ride’ to give you a feel for our business.
