The Business Technology Platform is the technological foundation of SAP's cloud products. Developing security services, the Risk Management and Secure Development team provides a solid foundation for SAP and our customers to build robust and secure products. The topics we focus on are authentication and Single Sign-On, authorization, security monitoring, services to prevent attacks as well as vulnerability management. As a Developer (Junior) (f/m/d) in our department you will: Design and develop robust, secure, and widely used platform services Work on top of the latest and state of the art cloud technologies like Kubernetes Ensure your code is running reliably on the platform Integrate your services into the platform and support adoption by applications Share your knowledge regularly with colleagues and customers If you … Are interested in information security Are enthusiastic about learning new technologies Love to deeply analyze and understand software Have a goal-oriented and accurate style of working Maybe even have fun breaking the security of things then you are a perfect fit and we are happy to receive your application! Role Requirements Required skills Good university degree (bachelor, diploma, master, PhD) in computer science or related fields like software engineering, physics or mathematics. Similar qualifications are welcome as well. Proven programming skills in one or more of the following languages: Java, JavaScript, Go, Python Fluent language skills in English - verbal and written Preferred skills Skills in state-of-the-art development frameworks like Spring-Boot or Node.js- Knowledge in applying information security domains Machine Learning and the application of respective tools Experience in agile development practices Development experience in open-source software projects German language skills About the Team Working with us you will be part of an agile team working in DevOps mode.
