To move our customer workloads and internal systems from legacy to public cloud- Azure, GCP and Converged cloud, we are looking for cloud applications domain expert with extensive experience in cloud native services for multi availability zone deployments. The Role: As the Application Build Lead you will provide the technical leadership to the application build team in the region/ time zone and be responsible for application deployment via automation. Co-ordinate among the infra build team, partner application build resources, and internal application stakeholders. Responsible for app deployment schedule commitments, application Integrations and build and security standards. Agility to deliver application deployments in assembly line construct in multiple environments. Responsible for application operational readiness for migrations. Work as SPOC for migration team in the region. EXPERIENCE / ROLE REQUIREMENTS Relevant professional experience as an engineer and technical leader Strong understanding of public cloud environments, services and configurations Experience in deploying and managing applications in multi-availability zones across regions Extensive experience in deploying & troubleshooting microservices, JAVA/.net applications and web servers like Nginx, tomcat etc. Experience with Kubernetes & docker Hands-on experience with industry standard CI/CD and DevOps tools Strong troubleshooting experience specific to network connectivity, performance, storage, operating systems/compute optimization Drive technology initiatives with an innovative mindset to solve business problems Excellent communication skills with technology focus (English; German is a strong plus) COMPANY DESCRIPTION SAP started in 1972 as a team of five colleagues with a desire to do something new.
