IT Network Administrator (m/f/diverse) Apply now IT Network Administrator (m/f/diverse) Description You drive new innovations and support the development of autonomous driving by providing stable IT services. As a network specialist, you will administer our campus and data center networks as well as remote sites (LAN/WLAN/WAN) and carry out fault diagnoses. You develop concepts for our network infrastructure, implement and continuously develop them together with our central network management team. You work with the most modern and up-to-date network technology Cisco has to offer. You actively shape the standardization and automation for installations and administrative activities, as well as drive new innovations. In critical situations, you act independently, recognize necessary escalations, and can communicate these appropriately to management. If required, you will also support on-call duties.Further tasks are:Collaboration with the business units (Autonomous Driving area) to find solutions for their IT network requirements (e.g. 10/100 Gbit; HighBandwidth Internet, VLAN) Further development of network monitoring Joint operation of the IT solutions at the ADC sites as part of the IT Operation Team Vulnerability Management Supporting the procurement and management process for the network area Creation and maintenance of service documentation Management and control of external partners and service providers Supporting audits Qualifications Academic degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering or comparable qualification like a vocational training in a comparable field Several years of professional experience desirable Sound knowledge of different network technologies (switching, routing, VLAN, WLAN, NAC, VPN, firewall, IPS, etc.) Technological understanding and experience integration and configuration of routers, switches and firewalls Certifications in networking and ITIL are advantageous, as well as knowledge and experience in software development, Windows, Linux and modern automation technologies (e.g.: Ansible) Very good English language skills (written and spoken), German language skills desirable Passion for network topics and enthusiasm to bring in your own ideas Very good coordination and moderation skills Self-motivated, self-organized and customer orientated Willingness to travel (national) Applications from severely handicapped people are welcome.
