As a Lead SAP Super user, you will lead a team of Super Users covering various modules in SAP to support Bristol MRO/OE Operations and MRO plants in Saudi Arabia/Royal Air Force Marham along with any future growth opportunities. This role is a key enabler to ensuring best practice, processes and tools are shared across these sites and further out to all global Defence facilities as required. This is an exciting role, as you’ll be an ambassador for the business by utilising your expertise and knowledge of the roles, processes and tasks of users in an SAP environment. You’ll also get to interact across businesses/ functions to include Manufacturing, Assembly and Test, Quality, Finance, Purchasing, Export/Import, Planning and Control, Programs, Engineering, Services and Customer Facing Programs as well as Third Party Logistics providers (3PLs). This position provides a central linkage between the business users, business processes and the IT system. Key Accountabilities: Lead strategy to develop and deploy a standard MRO/OE SAP template across global Defence business in Europe/UK, Middle East and United States, acting as an experienced SAP subject matter expert with authority within integrated team projects to design and buy-off business processes on behalf of Rolls-Royce. Gather and analyse Business requirements including coordination of requirement definition workshops, identifying opportunities and proposing business solutions to improve processes. Lead global Super User forums, Community of Practice and process owner reviews, including the associated development, implementation and monitoring of suitable process metrics. Work with 3PL warehouse management systems interfacing with RR SAP instance, including EDI transfers, spearheading user acceptance testing including creation of relevant documentation for test plans ensuring systems perform as designed and to the business requirements. Strategic integration of engineering systems and it’s connection to SAP. Champion and provide support for end/key users in problem resolution by understanding relationships/interactions with other roles and be able to interpret SAP system messages. Become an expert in SAP within the MRO/OE template and build up a detailed understanding of the interaction with Planning & Control, Operations, Engineering, Finance and programmes. Working with the teams to ensure compliance to process, identifying improvements and ensuring SAP is the executive tool for the MRO/OE facilities. Experience & Qualifications: A Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Business Management, Business IT, Supply Chain, Continuous Improvement, Manufacturing or Engineering and experience with SAP or ERP systems/planning. An in-depth working knowledge within an ERP/SAP system, ideally with experience in training SAP and ERP. Experience in Operations, Engineering, Manufacturing, IT or a Logistics discipline accompanied with knowledge and experience of operating business procedures and processes. Experience of working within an Operations or MRO/OE environment and some knowledge of the Repair and Overhaul Process (MS8) preferred but not essential. Experience in Inventory Management, Warehouse Management, Purchasing, Quality Management, Production Planning, Sales/Distribution or MRO. PMP certified or Project/program management experience.
