Mechanical Designer Engineering Services (m/f/diverse) Apply now Mechanical Designer Engineering Services (m/f/diverse) Description Do you want to work on Radar sensors for automated driving?Do you want to work on interesting and creative projects?We are offering this opportunity at our Location Lindau am Bodensee.As a Mechanical Designer (m/f/diverse) you will be responsible for the conception, design and provisioning of Radar Test brackets used in the Anechoic chamber and Radar test setups. Additionally, you will be supporting Engineering department with Mechanical modifications of Sensors.Your tasks will focus on the following activities:Conception and design of Radar Test Brackets Development and maintenance of Test Equipment Independent planning and implementation of tasks to support development of the Radar Sensors Interdisciplinary cooperation with Project Management, Mechanical, Hardware, Software and Test Departments Provisioning of the mechanical components including tracking and logistics Modification of the Radar Test Brackets Supporting in the mechanical modification works on sensors and test setups Supporting in setup and commissioning of Radar test brackets Ordering components and equipment Support in the alignment conception of the Radar Sensor Qualifications Technical education as Technician or Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineer Initial experience in Mechanical design preferably Design of Test setups Experience with CATIA V5 Experience in handling Mechanical Machines for e.g. Milling machine, cutting machine etc. desirable Knowledge of mechanical measurement techniques for e.g. 3D microscope Very good handling with MS Office software Business fluent English language skills as well as basic German language skills Independent, structured and solution oriented working methods Team player mentality as well as cultural competence Applications from severely handicapped people are welcome.
