Part 145 Quality & Health, Safety and Environment Engineer Derby Vollzeit JR6086543 Stellenbeschreibung Part 145 Quality & Health, Safety and Environment Engineer Derby or UK remote- with occasional travel to Derby We have a fantastic opportunity for a Part 145 Quality & HSE Engineer to support with the acceleration of quality improvement of the Rolls-Royce Part 145 approval supporting in ensuring the customer and regulatory authority requirements are satisfied with respect to Quality and Safety. In this role, you will support with the management of the Business Units Quality and Safety activities to help ensure all products, processes and services meet internal, external, regulatory, and customer requirements effectively and efficiently. You will be working in a leading MRO environment, developing new methods and techniques, and challenging the boundaries of the regulation. Key accountabilities: Work towards being formal deputy to the Nominated Person Safety Manager for all RR Part 145 approvals with the introduction of safety management systems requirements. Support with the Quality and Safety interface, enabling customer requirements to be understood and flowed down through the RR Part 145 MRO activities. Support in ensuring RR has and maintains all the required Part 145 Regulatory Maintenance Organisation Approvals and related Expositions coordinating activity between the Civil Aviation Authorities and Services. Support in the management of all Services Quality investigations (Service Disruption Failures - OS, Business Disruption - BD, Quality Notification - QNs, Major Quality Investigation - MQI and Mandatory Occurrence Report –MOR within area / region of accountability and deliver and execute actions from the strategy to assess, approve and the development of capability (SABRe) of contractors, this includes subcontractors and specialist service providers who work under the RR Part 145 quality system. Assist with providing effective support and governance to ensure compliance with the HSE Management System in support of ensuring key risks are identified and improvement programmes established and support in the identification and review of compliance risks using a data driven structured approach and work with the businesses to assess, contain and overcome top critical issues and support Improvement programmes to drive Zero Defect. Support in ensuring incidents are reported in a timely manner, robustly investigated and effectively closed out with lessons learnt shared and trend analysis conducted to identify improvement opportunities and assist in the management of all regulatory and external customer Quality investigations ensuring customer problems relating to product safety are resolved. Work to quality targets and execute actions from strategies, plans and programmes which deliver continuous improvement in customer satisfaction and reduction in the cost of non-conformance and support in the implementation of safety management system requirements into the RR Part 145. Key Skills /Experience: Have a track record of complete actions and tasks within a Maintenance/Repair/Overhaul or Service organisation. Can demonstrate good knowledge and expertise of regulatory and accreditation body requirements (EASA Part 145 and desirably Part M/CAMO) as they apply to the Maintenance/Repair/Overhaul Services organisation Can demonstrate knowledge and application of the full suite of problem solving improvement and lean tools Can demonstrate good working experience of being involved in supporting the management of regulatory and accreditation body requirements as they apply to the Maintenance/Repair/Overhaul / Services organisation We offer excellent development, a competitive salary and exceptional benefits.
