Join us in shaping BASF’s climate‑neutral future by driving innovative energy strategies and renewable power solutions. - Lead the topic of BASF group wide long‑term price forecasts for natural gas and coal, partnering with our power market team, external price consultants and internal stakeholders.
- Drive cross‑commodity market analysis (natural gas, coal, power, CO₂ certificates) and recommend strategies to optimize our energy portfolio.
- Conduct deep‑dive studies on selected global market topics mostly related to natural gas as a basis for improved business decisions
- As part of our BREn team you have the opportunity to join and push innovative renewable energy projects, shaping the future of sustainable energy solutions together.
WHAT YOU OFFER
- Master’s degree in science, Engineering or Economics
- experience in commercial aspects of energy markets
- minimum of 5 years’ experience in two of the following job clusters: Strategy, Business, Sustainability with responsibility for preferably global projects and interaction with top management
- strong analytical thinking and concept development skills
- eager to enhance skills, take on responsibilities and adapt quickly
- excellent communication skills in English, German is a plus
