SUMMARY & ROLE INFORMATION As a Senior Developer (f/m/d) of the SAP Data Warehouse Cloud Foundation team, you work in an innovative cloud environment and are part of an agile team alongside experienced colleagues and early talents. You will be involved in the full development cycle, from discussing requirements with our (internal) customers, to design, architecture, implementation, bug fixing and troubleshooting. Supporting maintenance, CI/CD and DevOps are also tasks of your new role. Additionally, you could organize parts of the agile development process within the team. You will support stakeholders and collaborate with members from other teams in the SAP Data Warehouse Cloud, SAP Analytics Cloud and SAP HANA organizations. You should bring a hands-on working style and passion for agile Cloud development. Entrepreneurial drive, the ability to “think out of the box” and drive innovation from idea to execution will help you to achieve stretch goals in an innovative and fast-paced product environment. Being a team player working with multiple development teams and across locations will be essential for the success of your team. ROLE REQUIREMENTS - Very good university bachelor’s degree in computer science or related fields - Willingness to work creatively and patiently on challenging tasks in accordance with the highest technical standards, plus a high level of commitment, team-spirit, flexibility, and initiative - Knowledge in Web technologies (JavaScript, Node.js, or TypeScript) and experience with test-driven development, unit tests and continuous integration and delivery - Database and SQL knowledge - Cloud mindset - Openness towards new technologies - Very good team player with extraordinary soft skills - Good communication skills in English, ideally also in German - Analytical skills combined with the ability to work on complex topics and drive their implementation in an efficient way - Knowledge of SAP environment, SAP development processes and SAP delivery processes - Organizational, business strategy planning and project management skills WORK EXPERIENCE An ideal candidate should bring at least five years of professional work experience in a development role ABOUT THE TEAM SAP Data Warehouse Cloud is a Software as a Service offering designed for data warehousing needs of all sizes, from business departments to large IT organizations.
