Senior Project Engineer for Safety (m/f/diverse) Apply now Senior Project Engineer for Safety (m/f/diverse) Description As the Project Engineer for Safety (m/f/diverse), you will lead the establishment of the safety culture and you are the interface to the safety activities within the business area. With your leadership and experience you will guide the project teams through successful safety lifecycles. Your main responsibilities:Act as a Functional Safety Lead (m/f/divers) to drive the development of automotive electronic control units in compliance with the Continental development process and international standard ISO 26262 Managing functional safety with the customer and internal development team Conducting reviews with product teams, external assessors and clients (m/f/divers) to ensure functional safety standards are being met throughout product development cycles Supporting and perform safety analyses on system, hardware and software Developing safety concepts for system architectures Specifying safety requirements for system, hardware and software disciplines Identify and manage safety related risks on project in terms of technical feasibility, scheduling conflicts, budget and resource availability Performing safety requirements management (e.g. prioritization, traceability, metrics) Planning and coordinating the functional safety documentation according to ISO 26262 Supporting the development of a Safety Culture within the organization Qualifications Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or similar Experience in developing safety requirements, safety concepts, safety analysis or safety software Experience with embedded systems Experience with processes such as the V-model, Automotive SPICE (ASPICE) or with agile methods such as SCRUM or SAFe Knowledge of ISO 26262 Experience in ASPICE preferable Good German and English language skills (written and spoken) Good communication and team collaboration skills as well as a goal-oriented and agile mindset Applications from severely handicapped people are welcome.
