Software Engineer (m/f/diverse) Apply now Software Engineer (m/f/diverse) Description The position can be staffed at any location within the Business Area Autonomous Mobility (Lindau, Ulm, Neu-Ulm or Riemerling). Join our team and develop innovative algorithms for low level fusion applications (radar/camera) in the field of automated driving. Amongst others these are your responsibilities:Conceptual design, implementation and verification of machine learning methods Adaption, optimization and extension of the existing machine learning algorithms and the related functions Preparation and modification of existing datasets Validating the function with the help of systematic testing (module tests, static and dynamic tests, code reviews) Agreeing on, complying with and testing resource requirements (run time, memory usage, ...) on the embedded platforms Conducting researches and reparing invention disclosure reports Qualifications Academic Degree in IT, Engineering, Robotics, Natural Sciences or similar qualification Expert knowledge and several years of professional experience in machine learning methods Experience with developing state-of-the-art computer vision and deep learning methods for perception and sensor fusion tasks Experience with multimodal sensor data and knowledge of sensors like camera, radar and lidar Advanced knowledge in Automotive SW algorithms, development and test methodology Expert knowledge in Programming skills (Python, C++, Deep Learning Frameworks) Advanced knowledge in Typical development & debugging tools Advanced knowledge in mathematical optimization methods Advanced knowledge in agile development within automotive innovation/series projects Very good English language skills (written and spoken) Very good communication skills Applications from severely handicapped people are welcome.
