PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES Our team has the mission to build a comprehensive platform for defining and managing complex data pipelines across heterogeneous corporate data sources; from innovative line of business use-cases (e.g. Internet-of-Thing scenarios) to central data warehouses infrastructures. The product development for this SAP Data Hub is at an early stage. We are making use of various SAP and Open Source technologies (SAP HANA, Hadoop, Spark) for holistic data management and innovative data processing (e.g. machine learning). We are looking for students to bring their budding talents to the SAP Data Hub Development team. EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS As a student ( f/m/d) in the SAP Data Hub team you will be working with a group of exceptionally talented and motivated colleagues. We offer a lot of different topics for students. Examples include: Analysis and Evaluation of satellite data coming from Sentinel (ESA/Copernicus) Integrate SAP Data Hub pipelines with existing streaming technologies Define and prototype continuous integration pipelines for SAP Data Hub for different Cloud platforms SAP Pipeline Engine on Raspberry Pi Building 3D controls for SAP Data Hub EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/ SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES Currently enrolled as student ( f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences Preferred field(s) of study: Computer Science or related fields Computer skills: Java/Scala, JavaScript, Python or Golang Language skills: fluent English or German Soft skills: Ability to work in a multi-national and multi-cultural team Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships).
