As a “Supplier Quality Management EL Architect (m/f/diverse)” your tasks will focus on the following activities: In line with Continental global quality understanding "Quality First", strive and drive zero defect requirement within the organization and to the supplier base Key interface as SQM coordination with regards to component and supplier strategy at early project phase Joint investigation with engineering architecture team on market benchmark and development of future trends from our suppliers (e.g., high performance computing, cloud services) Active role in white spot analysis in our existing supplier panel Participate in the supplier innovation and technology roadmap reviews in line with the strategy from central engineering & organization Deploy lessons learned and read across from the global categories into the early phase of projects architecture (and vice versa) Assuring robust quality requirements are deployed throughout supplier's supply chain integration concepts Ensure best in class "consistent and sustainable" supplier quality performance by early active involvement in supplier and technology identification & releases Qualifications Master’s degree in electronics/electrical engineering (or related) with minimum several years’ experience, preferably in the automotive industry Candidates with strong background of semiconductor component technologies, experience in manufacturing processes Understanding of automotive practices such as APQP/ PPAP/ VDA6.3/ IATF16949 Very good German and English language skills (written and spoken) Good interpersonal and communication skills to interact with different levels of people, including suppliers and customers. Able to lead and manage improvement projects, incl. meetings internally and with suppliers Able to work independently and travel frequently (e.g. 25%).
