SW and HW Configuration Manager (f/m/d) München Vollzeit JR6076431 Stellenbeschreibung An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Configuration Manager (f/m/d) to join Rolls-Royce Electrical in Munich . Rolls-Royce Electrical (RRE) is responsible for developing world class electrical technologies and products, as well as the associated integrated power generation and propulsion turnkey systems. RRE is rapidly extending the company's capability in the electrical domain and will play an increasingly important role in all our businesses as we move forward towards our Net Zero goal. Key Accountabilities Create the configuration basis for controls of hybrid electric propulsion systems for aircrafts in collaboration with our customers and design engineers Administrate processes and methods for configuration item identification, base lining, problem reporting, change control, release and archiving Maintain the system configuration and HW, SW and parameter data sets Drive the requirements derived from DO-254 and DO-178 within the project team and work accordingly Work in close collaboration with project management, development team, customers and suppliers Support with the creation of a certification basis Qualifications University degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, aerospace engineering, natural sciences or an equivalent technical university degree Several years of professional experience in the area of configuration management Experience in the development as part of a design organization Strong understanding of the use of configuration software (e.g. GitLab, Teamcenter, Polarion, …) Profound knowledge in the development of software and micro controllers, ideally with aviation background Ideally general experience in the field of electric and hybrid-electric propulsion technology Excited to go new ways and to work in a team on innovative and disruptive solutions Business fluent English and German skills We offer excellent development, a competitive salary and exceptional benefits.
