Our challenge? Achieve the fusion between embedded intelligence and connected vehicles to our service platform.We are working to imagine, develop and deploy new mobility services such as: driving assistance (eHorizon), fleet management for connected vehicles, smart access to vehicles, management and dynamic updating of map information, etc.Joining CDSF means joining 180 employees committeed around one same ambition: to make mobility safer and smarter!*Your challenges*As a System Engineer, you'll work in the Light Control Units area :– you have elevated responsibilities in the development of new concepts for LED and Laser based light control units in the automotive industry.– you work in an international team, developing light control units for high volume series application for French OEMs.– you are the key technical interface to the customer, and you build up a customer intimacy. – you analyze and clarify requirements with the customer and negotiate requirement deviations.– you establish requirements in DOORS for the internal disciplines (incl. traceability, managing attributes and requirements metrics). – you create system architectures on ECU level in strong alignment with the other disciplines and with our customers. – Based on your profound system understanding, you are able to moderate and support problem resolution of issues between different disciplines and the customer.– you support quality management (feasibility and risk analysis, FMEA, FTA, FSM)– you support generic development and the technical quotation team where you are involved in area of future technologies like HD light projection and connected cars. Qualifications *About you*– M.Sc. degree or higher in a technical discipline (preferred Electronics or Mechatronics)– At least 2 - 3 years of experience in the field of embedded systems in the automotive industry, with focus on system- and requirements engineering (familiar with DOORS).– Skilled in Software (C, Matlab/Simulink, and also knowledge of AUTOSAR OS and UDS)– Knowledge in Electronics – Knowledge in Change- and Configuration Management (JIRA, Perforce).– High identification with our products (affinity to light solutions in the automotive industry).– Availability for regular business trips to customers and to worldwide Continental locations.– Very good communication skills enabling to describe complex technical information to a broad audience, internally and externally.You speak fluently French and English.Do you want to know more about our teams, our workplace and our values?
