Summary & Role Information: In the role of the Team Lead (f/m/d), HEC Network, with GCS CIO Cloud Network Delivery, you will: Lead, build and develop a global network engineering and architecture team that will own 24x7 delivery of the business-critical HEC network infrastructure and continuously improve SAP’s ability to design, build and run the HANA Enterprise Cloud platform. Build an effective collaboration model, bringing together various teams and units that design, build and run core components of the HEC Infrastructure Platform Recruit, mentor, coach and grow talent, developing a diverse, skilled and highly motivated platform operations and engineering team Engage with broad range of suppliers, internal and external stakeholders and other groups and teams, owning the end-to-end operating model of the HEC network operations Drive the overall service delivery maturity, exhibiting extreme ownership of the platform and service (uptime, TCO and change velocity) Experience / Role Requirements: Track record of owning and delivering a global, large-scale, business-critical cloud platform Ability to lead, hire, coach, mentor and develop cutting-edge technical talent, both junior and senior, with international/global exposure Strong understanding of cloud platform network infrastructure and operations, ideally with Arista and Cisco technology Track record of delivering tangible operational and business results, centered around service/platform uptime, TCO, flexibility (velocity) and ease of working Proven ability to lead in ambiguous and growing environment, showcasing the thought leadership we need to grow our platform and people About the Team/ Brand/ Line of Business: GCS CIO Cloud Network Delivery – HEC NW team is operating and continuously improving a consolidated network infrastructure enabling global delivery of the SAP’s HANA Enterprise Cloud (HEC) service. Team is driving collaboration and coordination across various engineering and operations teams supporting delivery of the production service, fully focusing on Service Level Objectives of service stability, recoverability, change velocity and cost control.
