There is also the possibility to combine a compulsory part with the voluntary study-accompanying internship. Development of a procedure for simulation of composite structures (rubber/cord composite) for air springs using Abaqus Validation of simulation results by comparing with experimental test results Fitting/Adjustment of material parameters and/or material/composite models Literature research and documentation of the work Qualifications Students (m/f/diverse) currently enrolled in an engineering program, e.g. mechanical engineering, civil engineering or comparable studies Knowledge in using Abaqus Knowledge about composite structures analysis Knowledge about continuum mechanics and micro mechanics Knowledge about subroutine and plugin programming for Abaqus (Fortran, Python) Proficient in MS Office products Fluent in German and/or English (speaking and writing) Self motivated and independent working style Please remember to upload your current certificate of enrollment as well as your current transcript of grades and an excerpt from the current study regulations regarding completion of a mandatory internship, as these are mandatory for processing your application.Applications from severely handicapped people are welcome.
