As a developer in the team you will work on the design, implementation and maintenance of functionalities for the so-called “ABAP Integration” of SAP Data Intelligence used in order to extract data out of ABAP based-source systems to targets like Data Warehouse Cloud and SAP Analytics Cloud. The extraction mechanism uses a new trigger-based change-data-capture mechanism for the replication of CDS Views and tables from SAP S/4 HANA systems. It also uses SAP Landscape Transformation Replication Server to connect to legacy ABAP systems. Besides new developments, you will also be supporting the team in the maintenance of SAP Landscape Transformation Replication Server used by more than 1000 customers for the replication of data between ABAP and non-ABAP systems. EXPERIENCE / ROLE REQUIREMENTS Required Skills University degree in computer science or related technical discipline Very good programming skills in at least one object-oriented language Very good German and English language skills, both verbal and written You are a strong, committed and reliable team player with a focus on high quality results Preferred Skills Work experience in object-oriented programming as part of a development team Programming experience with ABAP ABOUT THE TEAM The Migration & Replication Technology Team based in Walldorf builds functionality to migrate and replicate data for various scenarios involving ABAP-based SAP systems as well as native databases.
