The Role SAP HANA Performance Team is looking for experienced Performance Engineer (f/m/d) to work on HANA Porting to ARM Platform project. If you are passionate about about the performance related aspects of software development then we have the perfect opportunity for you. You can expect to… Conduct performance analysis of complex scenarios taking into account hardware aspects Port SAP HANA to the ARMv8 CPU Platform Write performance regression tests using different programming languages (e.g. C++, Python, SQL) and testing frameworks (e.g. Google C++ Testing Framework) Optimize code for the ARM platform We are looking for candidates who are committed to a technology career path. Role Requirements Required skills: Ability to analyze and debug complex problems Experience in implementing and analyzing performance-critical algorithms Good C++ programming skills Good knowledge on ARM platform specifics Good knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software design Verbal and written working proficiency in English Preferred skills: Experience with profiling techniques and tools Familiarity with relational database management systems Verbal and written working proficiency in German Please make sure your set of application documents contains a cover letter and CV, copies of the obtained degrees and references.
