PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES The Export Control Team is part of Finance and Administration, located in St. Leon Rot and act as an internal as well as external service provider. Export and Import Control Compliance is an important part of SAP's global compliance program. As an international economic operator, SAP must comply with export control laws and regulations of various countries. Within SAP, the Export Control Team is responsible for ensuring compliance through appropriate export control compliance processes. To support the Export Control Team, we are looking for a flexible, engaged and committed working student who can integrate in a professional team and is interested in supporting the various activities around effective export control tasks. EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS The working student (f/m/d) will support the Export Control Operation Team and with that learn key operational aspects that are required to successfully fulfill our export control mission. As we are working very close with other departments and have visibility at board level, the student has the opportunity to enrich his professional business horizon accordingly. As the Export Control Team has a wide range of responsibilities to manage, the student will: Support day-to-day export control business operations Update Export Control Classification Numbers (ECCN) of software products Maintain Export Control specific information of material master data and license materials Assist export control pre-evaluation requests from our sales organization Perform Sanctioned Party List screenings Check business partner master data based on industry code / perform web researches Provide project support (creation of reports, presentation, statistical analyses, etc.) EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES Student (f/m/d) at a university or university of applied sciences, preferable 2 or more semesters to study Fluency in German (law terms understanding is a must) and English - both verbal nad written Very good skills in MS applications (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) Analytical skills and the ability to understand complex issues Good team player and proactive working attitude WORK EXPERIENCE We would appreciate but do not require, knowledge around Export Controls and experiences with SAP systems.
