AR Systems Engineer (Anti-Reflective)

We are looking for people who are keen to try something new:
- Perform hands-on work in a production environment and demonstrate technical know-how.
- Perform preventative maintenance and repair of equipment and systems.
- Perform and guide calibration process according to company requirements.
- Evaluate equipment performance and process capabilities.
- Management of assets and plan asset upgrades.
- Manage self and work assignments.
- Ensure equipment is ready for production in a timely manner.
- Reinforces compliance to company approved methods and quality standards.
- Work closely with management team to achieve results needed to satisfy customer demand.
- Ongoing communication with Production Manager and Lab Manager.
- Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
- Responsibilities include supporting both our wholesale and retail customers from a remote location
- Provide day to day phone support to Zeiss and third-party labs
- Provide weekly reports in a timely manner
- High degree of initiative and proven ability to work independently
- Perform preventative maintenance and repair of equipment and systems.
- Set up standard test apparatus or devises test equipment and circuitry to conduct functional, operational, environmental, and life tests to evaluate performance and reliability.
- Schematics and Electrical circuitry
You are:
- College level education or equivalent required in electronics to include diagnostics and troubleshooting
- Minimum of 5 years of applicable work experience
- Previous experience within a manufacturing environment including but not limited to operation of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and HVAC.
- Outstanding people skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Effective communication skills
- Detail oriented
- Manage self and work assignments, Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
- High degree of initiative and proven ability to work independently
- Ability to apply principles and theories of electronics, electrical circuitry, engineering mathematics, electronic and electrical testing, and physics.
- Travel to 70-80% should be expected. Occasionally with little to no notice.
