Your responsibilities:
Assists in assembly of KHS machines; Performs as a team member to execute power up and start up of machine;
Performs commissioning of machine including documenting the machine performance and that machine meets customer specifications; uses ISO quality procedures
Reviews mechanical and/or electrical specifications for wiring and controls to document changes from original specifications during the build process;
Interacts with engineering to ensure that all changes are incorporated into documentation (e.g. prints) for file and customer.
Operates machine for customers’ factory acceptance test
Tests customers’ materials and product for packaging; provide feedback to engineers and project management; suggest improvements to resolve technical issues
Troubleshoots electrical and mechanical problems and notifies required personnel, makes necessary approved modifications and corrections during start-up and checkout and documents changes.
Participates in quality efforts by inspecting components and functional items on checklist and signs off on machine
Provide technical support for field service technicians during installation of the machine
Your profile:
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
3 to five years complex electro mechanical equipment assembly experience.
Ability to understand, utilize, and demonstrate proficiency in the operation of KHS USA enterprise resource planning system.
Familiarity with AutoCAD as required to view necessary drawings.
Familiarity with various PLC, Motion Control and Operator Interface software as required in diagnostics and troubleshooting.
Experience keying in on large part machining
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to identify issues, assign tasks and effectively communicate with both superiors, subordinates and customers to achieve agreed goals and objectives related to machine acceptance.
