    Apple’s German Education Team is looking for a Business Development Executive to support schools, school authorities, municipalities or ministries in implementing sustainable strategies to transform teaching and learning.
    This includes the planning and the execution of successful teacher training plans and both maintaining and extending Apple’s network of certified trainers and outstanding references on both school and municipality level.
    In this position you will also be working closely with Apples Authorized Education Resellers on the pedagogical aspects of deploying technology with Education institutions and you are a credible, passionate, convincing and experienced specialist in managing change within an Education environment. You will also be working closely with the teams in Europe and the DACH region to plan and roll out events and briefings targeting all relevant stakeholders in the segment.
    Key Qualifications
    • Extensive knowledge of the German Education system and its stakeholders, especially in the K12 segment.
      Inside experience and proven track record in both planning and implementation of Digital Education projects.
      Business acumen, self sufficient and structured, strong attention to detail
      Proven expertise in communicating with school leadership teams and ability to get their buy-in
      Strong motivation to sustainably transform teaching and learning
      Understanding of public procurement and decision making processes
      You possess excellent interpersonal, communication, and written skills. You are able to develop clear, concise documentation, including project briefs and presentations to all levels
      Deep knowledge of instructional design and coaching models to support Apples Education sales team and Channel partners
      You enjoy connecting with people and understand how to manage and build a network of advocates and references
      Experience in managing virtual teams
      Knowledge of relevant third party manufacturers and service offerings in Education technology
      Ideally experienced in working in an indirect sales model
      Comprehensive knowledge of the Apple education eco-system and Apple software and services
      Experience in an academic leadership position preferred
      Experience as a classroom teacher or lecturer, and/or curriculum consultant
      Fluency in German and English is required. Additional languages are a plus.
      Experience as an educator or in working in an education environment, preferred
    The Education Business Development Executive is a role which requires working across complex environments and being comfortable outside traditional boundaries. To support strategic education initiatives and build upon a strong customer base, the ability to develop relationships, build community and execute at speed are critical.

    Seen as an education thought leadership role by education customers, a deep understanding of Apple in education and strong knowledge of the education landscape is expected.
    As a Business Development Executive, you will:
    •Successfully Manage and implement Apple programs in the education sector. This includes Education Sales Programs such as APL, ADS, ADE and Apple Teacher, strategic formats like Planning Essentials and curricula like Everyone can Code and Everyone can Create. This includes work with local institutions and educators
    •Support large-scale deployments with municipalities or districts by building and managing ongoing and bespoke training and coaching strategies
    •Plan and execute events and briefings, request and manage budget accordingly
    •Implement change management processes with education customers to sustainably transform teaching and learning, develop customers from the first small deployment to full 1:1
    •The role will require collaborating with many other Apple departments across the EMEIA region including Sales Planning & Operations, Channel Customer Communication, Enterprise, Apple Retail, Legal, Finance, Government Affairs, PR and the leadership team
    Education & Experience
    BS/BA degree.
