    You will join our team at the test bench for accelerated testing of flexible pipe connectors for parabolic trough collectors at the international test center Plataforma Solar de Almería (CIEMAT’s PSA) in Southern Spain. The main objective of this system is the accelerated testing of the flexible pipe connectors, one of the key components in parabolic trough solar power plants. A measurement system of accelerometer sensors has been integrated and validated during a previous test campaign with flexible hoses and swivel joints. Initial results of the aging of these critical components and their vibration changes over time were obtained.

    You will be responsible for the signal analysis during the next test campaign in 2023. It includes signal recording and scientific data analysis for condition monitoring of the flexible pipe connectors under test.
