The ideal candidate will possess both a sales / account management and technical background that enables them to drive an engagement at the executive level and with software developers and IT architects. The ideal candidate should also be a self-starter who is prepared to develop and execute against a territory coverage plan and consistently deliver results.
Key job responsibilities
Help to drive business growth and expansion in a defined territory
Develop and execute against a plan that leads to the creation and maintenance of a robust pipeline including opportunities in existing accounts as well as driving net new business with prospects
Manage numerous accounts concurrently & strategically based on account plans tied to your customers business goals
Articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services.
Accelerate customer adoption and build long-term relationships with key accounts
Work with Consulting and Technology Partners, technical teams and business development to extend reach & drive adoption
Ensure customer satisfaction
+12 years of technology related sales, business development, or consulting experience
BA/BS degree required
Strong verbal and written communications skills in English and German
Ability to think strategically and analytically about (retail-) business, product, and technical challenges
Experience with Retail/E-Commerce business processes and/or selling to retail organizations
