We achieve this through creativity, and we implement these concepts under consideration of fairness, security, quality, scalability and runtime security.Join our team at neurocat We are looking for a Research Engineer that will play a crucial part in developing one of our core products called „aidkit“. aidkit is an AI toolbox for testing and assessing the robustness and comprehensibility of a wide range of machine learning (ML) models. Your role will be the development of new features for the aidkit core. This includes serving as the interface between research and development, transforming complex concepts into performant Python code.Note: We are also interested to hear from potential interns wanting to work for a limited period as a Research Engineer with us!Your working environment: At neurocat you will find a job with incredible future prospects in one of the most promising and secure growth sectors of our time. Within a few S-Bahn stops you'll find yourself in Ostkreuz, one of the primary cultural centers and pub miles of Berlin.Your Tasks: Understand complex mathematical concepts in close interaction with our research scientists, decomposing novel ideas into practical building blocks and transforming them into performant Python code Maintain a code base of all our ML model analyses Simplify the code base to enable colleagues with less experience in writing performant code to contribute Your Profile: Significant experience in scientific programming Strong expertise in Python programming Industry experience with ML models of different input data types, frameworks and tasks Several years of work experience in a data science- and/or ML-related context (i.e., statistics and/or optimization) High degree of self-motivation and ability to work autonomously Fun in working in a cross-sectional team Nice to have: Software engineering experience Strong background in optimization theory, statistics and data analysis Experience with test-driven development and professional git workflows Experience with Docker, RabbitMQ and Flask Don’t hesitate to get in touch with us: firstname.lastname@example.org We are pleased to get in touch with you and are looking forward to read your meaningful application documents.
