Software Engineer - Application Development

We are seeking a Software Developer to strengthen our application development of sophisticated standalone applications based on various technology stacks. You should have the enthusiasm to demonstrate excellency in creating new and innovative products with us.

Responsibilities

• Be part of one of our teams developing software products using the latest technologies and methodologies
• Take responsibility for developing, integrating and operating your solution
• Support our customers with improving the product continuously
• Work on our customers applications, for instance for lifecycle management systems, issue tracking or quality management
• Keep the Application operational for hundreds or thousands of users
• Contribute to our culture of best practices, clean code and testing in our development processes
• Participation in our competence area and peer learning programs

Requirements:

• Knowledge in one or more of the following technology areas from experience in a professional environment or a considerable private project
  • Java SE and EE
  • Database systems like Oracle DB or PostgreSQL
  • Application servers like Glassfish
  • Interface design with HTTP REST or SOAP
  • Ideally expertise in web application frontend development, e.g. Angular JS, React or Primefaces
• Domain knowledge or interest in any of the following domains: Mobility, Connectivity, Connected Navigation, Automotive
• Experience with agile software development is a plus
• Naturally curious and boundless enthusiasm to learn new technologies
