    The Continental Tires NVH (Noise Vibration & Harshness) Testing Department within our R&D family is an important pillar in order to deliver high quality test results for our new tire models. As an NVH Test Engineer (m/f/diverse) you will be responsible for tire/road & vehicle measurement activities, development of noise measurement technologies and test methods at our Technology Center in Hanover Stoecken as well as on our test track Contidrom in Jeversen.

    Further tasks in this position are:
    • Planning and organizing tire/vehicle NVH measurements including testing capacity and technical coordination of tire mounters (mainly indoor)
    • Analysis, prompt reporting and internal communication of noise and vibrations measurements
    • Continuous improvement and further optimization and automatization of available measurement and reporting procedures
    • Leading technology projects in the field of tire/road noise testing technologies
    • Preparation of NVH-related internal and external audits
    • Carry out regular Benchmarks on state of art measurement equipment
    • Coordination and performing correlation studies internal/external
    • Development and implementation of new tire noise testing methods, both internal and customer-specific requirements including documentation, reporting and maintenance
    • Constant exchange and process alignment with satellite locations
    • Academic degree in engineering or natural sciences
    • Good knowledge of acoustics and vibration theory
    • Deep knowledge and interest in tire related test methods
    • Knowledge of signal processing techniques and statistical methods incl. their implementation in software routines (e.g. using Matlab or Java)
    • Experience in project management desirable
    • Broad interest in state-of-the-art measurement methods and current trends in the field of tire and vehicle testing
    • Very good German and English language skills (written and spoken)
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Strong team player with intercultural competency
    • High degree of efficiency as well as target-oriented and innovative working style
