Aufgaben # Cloud Strategy: Develop and execute the organization's cloud strategy using AWS services, tailored to business needs with focus on an overall scalable and elastic IT Architecture # Architecture Design: Architect and propose AWS solutions that fulfil project or business requirements # Solution Building: Build repeatable mechanisms, architectures, solutions and playbooks to enable faster, cheaper, predictable, and risk-free workload migrations to AWS # Migration: Define on the technology migration strategy by engaging highly technical teams within AWS (Solutions Architects, Technical Account Managers, professional services consultants and services partners) to define migration pathways, oversee the migration of on-premises services and data to AWS cloud solutions (“Lift and Shift”) and ensure success in building applications, software onto the AWS platform # Security Management: Ensure all AWS cloud architecture complies with industry security standards and policies # Cost Optimization: Regularly review and optimize cloud costs associated with AWS resources # Performance Tuning: Conduct system performance tuning and capacity planning # Technical Leadership: Guide and mentor teams on best practices for AWS services and cloud architecture # Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation related to AWS architecture, including both high-level architecture diagrams and low-level component details # Innovation: Keep abreast of new AWS services and technologies # Collaboration: Engage with cross-functional teams, including development, operations, business stakeholders, to ensure successful deployment and maintenance of AWS solutions Qualifikationen # Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus # Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in IT architecture, with at least 3 years focused on AWS cloud solutions # Proven Track Record: Execution of successful projects in transitioning from on-premises infrastructure to AWS, including infrastructure provisioning, network design and data migration as well as experience with global synchronisation and distribution of services, including multi-region deployments and content delivery networks (CDNs) # Technical Skills: Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Shell), AWS services and cloud computing technologies (e.g. EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, IAM, CloudFront, CloudFormation etc.), # Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect or other related AWS certifications are highly desirable # Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, teamwork, and leadership skills # Analytical Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities # Security: Deep understanding of security principles as they pertain to cloud-based architecture # Project Management: Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies is advantageous # Language Proficiency: Fluent in German and English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus Zusatzinformationen We offer: # Flexible working hours with trust-based working hours # Up to 80% remote as well as 20 days/year working from abroad in the EU # Up to more than 30 days of vacation # Attractive compensation through a fixed and a variable component # Company pension scheme # Digital learning always and everywhere # Global career opportunities with TRATON brands in Sweden, USA and Brazil
