WW Ops Amazon Business is building the operations and supply chain solutions that will enable AB’s rapid growth by re-engineering many parts of our supply chain to offer bulk, consolidated, pallet deliveries and many other services that business customers require. As an early team member, you will be involved in helping re-imagine what a B2B supply chain should look like and playing a key role in the technology that will power our supply chain.

In the US, AB now serves Fortune 500 companies, hospital systems, local governments, and education organizations. To support AB's mission, the AB Operations team owns end to end customer experience for AB customers right from checkout to final mile delivery and sits under the broader Global Transportation Services (GTS). We are the Single Threaded WW Ops team driving B2B operations, developing products and programs unique to business customers, and enhancing the core Amazon delivery capabilities for commercial addresses. While Amazon has built its core operations over the last two decades mostly catered towards the end-consumer, we recognize that the business customers have unique needs and require a different set of features and services from their e-Commerce provider. We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:
Munich, BY, DEU
- Experience in analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc.
- Experience in data mining, ETL, etc. and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets
- Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
- Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling
- Experience in the data/BI space
- Knowledge of advanced skills in Excel as well as any data visualization tools like Quicksight or similar BI tools
- Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift
- Bachelor's degree in BI, finance, engineering, statistics, computer science, mathematics, finance or equivalent quantitative field
- Elementary experience with data engineering, working with APIs, and managing AWS accounts.
