Channel Sales SW Defined Storage (m/f/x)
Your Role and Responsibilities
The Storage market is a very dynamic and growing market segment in IT business, related to the enormous data growth coming from digital transformation at our customers. The challenge is not only storing data but also managing the vast amount of petabytes our clients have to deal with. So beside traditional Storage systems the raising focus is on Software defined Storage Solutions . Software-defined Storage is a key growth segment within IBM’s Storage portfolio with a double-digit growth on a yearly basis. Our hard- and software solutions are leading edge in the overall market and build the foundation for our cloud strategy. Channel business is crucial for current and future success. Therefore, we are looking for an experienced and sales-oriented Channel Sales Representative for the German market. Transfer skills to BP sellers by creating, identifying and curating relevant content and deliver it through the most effective activation methods (digital tools, programs, online learning, coaching, applied experiences) and continually explore and deploy new enablement methods.
Storage focus on value selling and channel background to position the different routes to market and defined approaches. Develop content to educate, train and motivate BP sales teams on value selling, offerings, tools and methods for storage sales enablement initiatives.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise• Expertise in Storage software offerings or Channel incentives and programmes
• Powerful communication skills including the ability to write for different audiences, an engaging presentation style, and group facilitation skills
• Teamwork skills, with a demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams and roles, especially with internal clients and subject matter experts
