Position overview
This position is primarily responsible for assisting the Corporate Accounting Department with various duties, such as monthly/quarterly reconciliations. This position will work closely with the vehicle accountant on general accounting, vehicle accounting/analysis, audit preparation and other special projects assigned by the Director, Corporate Accounting & Controlling.
Roles & responsibilities
- Assist with completing account reconciliation for Porsche Cars North America, Porsche Logistics Services & Porsche Cars Canada
- Assist with preparing quarterly and year end financials
- Assist with Intercompany Accounting
- Assist with audit preparation
- Provide accounting assistance to internal stakeholders (i.e. Sales Operations, Customer Relations, etc)
- Process and prepare daily MSO (wholesale) titles for dealers
- Other assigned duties and tasks assigned by the Corporate Accounting Manager, Senior Accountants and the Director, Corporate Accounting & Controlling
Qualifications
Required qualifications include:
- Applicant must be at a least a junior working towards a BS degree in Business, Accounting or Finance.
- Successfully completed at least two (2) Accounting courses.
Required Skills:
- The ability to communicate with all levels of management
- SAP experience is a plus
- MS Office Skills especially with Excel and PowerPoint presentations
- Strong organization skills
- Detail oriented
Preferred Skills:
- SAP experience
Physical requirements
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
- While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to talk, hear, walk, sit, stand, climb stairs on occasion with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to effectively work and complete tasks in an open office/noisy environment.
Pay Range for this position is $18 - $20 per hour, dependent on education status.
