    BIOTRONIK is looking to add a Director of Marketing to our new Neuromodulation Segment. The Director of Marketing initiates and effectively leads the development and execution of strategic marketing plans and product portfolios– an effective emissary of Marketing to the broader organization.

    The Director of Marketing is responsible for the development, implementation, management and execution of an effective marketing strategy and corresponding commercial plan to achieve revenue objectives. In this role you will drive downstream execution for a successful launch of Biotronik’s neuromodulation device and next generation products.

    The Director of Marketing will have significant interaction with the field-based salesforce and must work collaboratively to create plans and ensure that customer targeting, messaging, new product launches, market expansions, and sales tools are well executed and impactful. This position reports to the Vice President Clinical Affairs and Strategic Marketing.

    Your Responsibilities

    • Demonstrate a complete understanding BIOTRONIK product line and our market situation – develops and delivers compelling options for effective marketplace change
    • Develop and execute the methods by which BIOTRONIK Marketing creates and executes marketing plans including optimized life cycle portfolio management - - has a leadership role in completing all elements of the plan
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive HCP marketing strategy including customer targeting, onboarding commercial team members, education, and launch planning. Execution will be through strategies related to product launches, customer engagement, and conference presence
    • Develop downstream activities and execute agreed upon commercial plans in conjunction and consultation with Sales, Upstream Marketing, Training, and Clinical Affairs
    • Produce and drive use of impactful marketing collateral tools.
    • Analyze business to understand trends and drive recommendations to improve execution of strategic plans
    • Collect customer insights and competitive intelligence and incorporate into marketing plans
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders and key customers
    • Develop strong credibility with Sales, KOLs, and customers through procedural, product, and competitor/competitive therapy knowledge
    • Partner with training personnel to ensure the effective training of the sales team
    • Ensure that all marketing activities conform to company guidelines and local laws
    • Guide teams to ensure that plans reflect a distillation of organizational best thinking
    • Fluent in the clinical terminology, internal and external policies, regulatory environment and technical specifications of the neuromodulation industry
    • Seek input from, and communicate expectations to, key internal, local and global, and external stakeholders in an effort to strengthen plans or challenge assumptions
    • Considered a resource for all Marketing & Communications colleagues including management, local and global – Understands individual roles and teaches Senior, Junior- and Portfolio Manager to work effectively with their colleagues
    • Manage group level projects through well-established connections with internal and external stakeholders (including Berlin Marketing)
    • Guide and conduct forecasting and obsolescence functions – serves as a resource in terms of strategic portfolio planning
    • Internal and external colleagues and stakeholders seek them out as a trusted resource

    Your Profile

    • Bachelor's degree required – MBA Preferred
    • 10 + years of commercial marketing experience; preferably in a medical product manufacturing and marketing business
    • Demonstrated ability to understand, interpret, plan and execute effectively in order to overcome technically complex product challenges and choices made by highly educated decisions makers who operate within strong influence networks/
    • CRM certifications considered as a positive differentiating factor
    • Prior neuromodulation experience
    • Experience developing and launching medical devices into highly competitive space
    • Strong team player who can incorporate input from others and can generate consensus through inclusion
    • Direct experience and responsibility of successfully managing a high revenue business in a competitive market
    • Strong and creative thinker who is intellectually curious
    • Sound decision making capabilities
    • Good organizational skills and ability to meet tight deadlines in an environment of competing priorities. Ability to routinely work on multiple tasks with multiple people while effectively prioritizing
    • Ability to develop strong relationships with customers, clinical & sales partners.
    • Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills for a wide variety of audiences, including sales & marketing leadership
    • Ability to work in hospitals, operating rooms, clinics, and surgical centers
