To strengthen our team at CAI airport, we are looking for a skilled, experienced and motivated ECAA licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer with AMEL LWTR Category A (pressurized airplanes >5700 kg) including type rating who is passionate about aviation technology and safety.

You will play a key part in ensuring that aircraft meet the highest standards of reliability, performance, and airworthiness.

You will play a key part in ensuring that aircraft meet the highest standards of reliability, performance, and airworthiness.

Tasks

Your main tasks include, among others:

  • Carrying out maintenance and repair work in line maintenance, including independent troubleshooting and defect rectification in accordance with valid technical documentation and process management systems as an ECAA licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer
  • Carrying out visual inspections, independently troubleshoot faults, and interpreting the MEL
  • Analyzing/eliminating malfunctions and damage
  • Approving aircraft after maintenance work
  • Supervisory responsibility for employees without authorization levels in the assigned work area
  • Managing the maintenance operation and performing all necessary steps to assure the operation according to EASA standards
  • Supervising all technical and operational aspects at the station and coordinating the work routines with internal and external parties incl. crews
  • Managing the entire technical handling and coordinating all flights allocated to the shift with the aim to ensure safety, punctuality and an appropriate customer service
  • Technical guidance of subordinate employees, incl. induction and instruction of employees.

Requirements

The ideal ECAA licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (m/f) A320FAM should meet the following requirements:

  • Fluent knowledge of English, both written and spoken
  • A-level standard of education as well as several years of work experience
  • Valid ECAA Aircraft Maintenance License with AMEL LWTR Category A (pressurized airplanes >5700 kg)
  • Valid type ratings for Airbus A320 FAM (all Engines) regulations of Egyptian Civil Aviation Authority (ECAA) issued by an EASA Part 147 approved Training Organization
  • Valid practical experience on these aircraft types (6 months certifying staff within duration of last 24 months), as evidenced by a system extract. Ideally on EASA-registered aircraft
  • Valid certificates for the required recurring training courses (such as Human Factors, EWIS, and Fuel Tank Safety)
  • Good knowledge of business management including IT skills
  • Suitability for 3-shift work, ability to take physical and mental stress
  • Valid passport and work permit for Egypt
  • Valid driving license
  • Psychological aptitude test may be required.
