Electric - IT Support (f/m/d) Dahlewitz Vollzeit JR6079437 Stellenbeschreibung An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Electric - IT Support (f/m/d) to join Rolls-Royce Electrical in Dahlewitz near Berlin. As an IT Specialist for Rolls-Royce, you’ll be a part of a global team working within the Rolls-Royce Electrical (RRE) group to support all our operating sectors including Civil Aerospace, Defense Aerospace and Power Systems. This is an exciting and newly created opportunity, as you’ll incorporate IT solutions, process and support that will enable our engineering design teams to utilize existing and future software tools, and collaboration across our global footprint. This position will interact with our existing Rolls-Royce IT infrastructure (Safety, Export Control, etc) and provide the necessary inputs to the Rolls-Royce Electrical IT Island to enable global collaboration across all business sectors. Rolls-Royce Electrical (RRE) is responsible for developing world class electrical technologies and products, as well as the associated integrated power generation and propulsion turnkey systems. RRE is rapidly extending the company's capability in the electrical domain and will play an increasingly important role in all our businesses as we move forward towards our Net Zero goal. Key Accountabilities: Direct support to users across the Rolls-Royce Electrical organization (including helping set up hardware or software, diagnosing connectivity or data access problems, answering questions about hardware or software, and helping users access shared drives and devices). Managing the relationships between RRE and the wider Rolls-Royce IT function to ensure RRE business and functional objectives are met. Supporting the Rolls-Royce Electrical Site Manager to ensure that IT capability is delivered in a timely and cost-aware manner. Driving all IT related activities and projects to serve internal customer and business demands. The IT support has to be ensured as well as any risk mitigation around IT security. Identification of IT operation and project risks. Necessary escalation with risk mitigation actions. Ensure IT security measures and rules are applied. Act as focal point for IT capability to internal customer (technical teams and projects) Drive Customer Support with incident and service management, license management support. Providing IT solutions from planning to rollout, follow-up project status, equipment and software support to existing and new Team members, as well as internal reporting and metrics. Supporting the Team’s computational requirements (engineering laptops, ultra high computing desktops, and high computing clusters usage), instantiation and administration support for common tools, as well as development of infrastructure as IT subject matter expert. Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology Management or related field with a couple years of experience or Master’s degree or in-depth IT knowledge, with several years of experience in IT architecture, setup, operation, and support. IT certifications a plus: Microsoft Fundamentals, CCNA, CompTIA A+, Security+, CISSP. Very good experience in IT infrastructure, IT network and IT hardware, as well as windows/M365/Sharepoint. Basic experience in IT security and Azure Cloud Services. Open minded for new IT solutions and technologies. Agility to manage a number of tasks simultaneously and to prioritise effectively.
