EMC Engineer (f/m/d)

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES WITH US:

- Liaising continuously throughout the lifecycle of the project with the Project Engineering Manager in order to contribute to the overall project safety case and to demonstrate the overall EMC compliance of the signaling system.

- Defining EMC activities and building the EMC Control Plan according to the requirements of the project.

- Defining the necessary EMC factory compliance tests to be performed as well as the necessary in situ assessment, in order to close out all identified EMI risks.

- Identifying all potential risks of interference between signaling equipment and signaling system, and other railway subsystems.

- Defining the constraints to be applied to the other subsystems (i.e. non-signaling) in order to reduce their external emission of noise and protect the signaling equipment.

- Providing an overall EMC synthesis document for submission at the end of the project, which demonstrates the mitigation of all risks and the compliance of the signaling system with its EM environment.

YOU CONVINCE US WITH:

- Engineering degree in the electrical or electronic discipline.

- At least 5 years of experience in the railway, specifically in the EMC field.

- Knowledge of fundamental EMC standard: EN 61000-4 series.

- Experience and knowledge of railway EMC standard series EN 50121.

- Knowledge of earthing, bonding and lightning protection.

- Very good knowledge of English and preferably German.
