Engineer for homologation and type approval (m/f/diverse) Apply now Engineer for homologation and type approval (m/f/diverse) Description In this position you are responsible for the world wide certification and homologation of our ADAS sensors and ECUs as well as for all strategic and operational activities in the area of certification and type approval within the Business Area Autonomous Mobility (BA AM). Specifically, the type approval of our products according to UN-ECE regulations is within your responsibility and you act as type approval representative (m/f/diverse) towards the relevant authorities, external suppliers and internal and external customers on a regular basis. You are a good fit, if you already have experience in the type approval of (electronical) devices in context of UN-ECE, preferably R10, and like to work within a dynamic and international R&D environment.This position can also be filled at our location in Lindau. Project management and ownership of the world wide initial and re-certifications of ADAS products Ensuring the relevant documentation Preparation and pre-verification of test samples as well as accompanying and supporting the certification tests and review of the resulting test reports Continuous observation of the regulatory frameworks in the area of homologation and type approval as well as initiation of necessary measures to ensure continued world wide compliance Representation of the interests of BA AM and Continental AG towards the relevant authorities and participation in working groups and associations Active participation on the development of test standards and world wide harmonized regulations, especially in context of future requirements of autonomous mobility Qualifications Academic degree in engineering, physics or similar field of study Knowledge of certification of electrical devices Knowledge in the area of homologation, standardization and product compliance Experienced in UN-ECE regulations and the according certification methods Basic project management skills Fluent German and English language skills written and spoken Very good communication skills High degree of accountability and experience in a dynamic, international environment Applications from severely handicapped people are welcome.
