What will you be doing?

As a mid-level Experience Designer, you will take ownership of design activities across digital products and services—from early-stage opportunity framing to detailed interaction and visual design.

You’ll collaborate across disciplines to define and create experiences that meet functional and emotional needs—helping our clients push boundaries in industries like healthcare, finance, mobility, and more.

On a typical project, you will:

  • Understand goals, user needs, business requirements, and technical constraints to shape experience strategies and design solutions
  • Conduct or support research, usability testing, and synthesis activities
  • Benchmark and analyze existing solutions and identify gaps or opportunity spaces
  • Develop and articulate concepts across journeys, service blueprints, and interface behavior
  • Create digital design artefacts (user flows, UI mock-ups, high-fidelity screens, and interactive prototypes) that demonstrates product behavior for defined use cases and features, including products in the GenAI space
  • Deliver detailed design with strong interaction logic, argumentation, and aligned to visual and accessibility standards
  • Work confidently in Figma to create and maintain scalable design systems
  • Leverage your strong visual design craft, including typography, layout, color, and hierarchy
  • Create, apply and evolve Design Language Systems and contribute to their strategic structure, governance and documentation
  • Present work internally and externally with clarity, persuasion, and storytelling finesse
  • Contribute to a positive studio culture through collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and mentoring

 

We want you to have:

  • Business-level fluency in both German and English
  • 2+ years of experience in UX design, product design, or visual design (agency, consultancy, startup or in-house)
  • A strong portfolio that demonstrates both visual craft and strategic thinking in digital design
  • High proficiency in Figma especially in interaction logic, component design, theme and token service, with attention to details.
  • Experience designing within or maintaining Design Systems
  • A clear, structured approach to interaction patterns across mobile/desktop platforms and experience defining product logic through site maps, user flows, wireframes, etc.
  • Ability to rationalise your decisions effectively and present your work clearly, through strong presentation design and storytelling techniques
  • A strong product development mindset, including openness to collaborating with business and tech teams, working iteratively based on user feedback, technical constraints, etc.
  • Affinity with frog’s values, and a passion for creating products that meet peoples’ functional and emotional needs

 

Bonus points if you have:

  • A degree in Interaction Design, Visual Communication, HCI, or a related design discipline
  • Experience designing and/or prototyping for GenAI based product (etc. LLM-based or multi-modal Assistant, multi-modal content generation)
  • Explore and integrate Generative AI tools (e.g. Galileo AI, Midjourney, Uizard, ChatGPT) into design workflows for ideation, concepting, and rapid iteration
  • Experience building or managing Figma component libraries, style guides, or working with tools like Token Studio
  • Experience in branding, crafting brand narratives, brand experiences and brand strategy, building a Corporate Identity or physical branded interactions.
  • Knowledge of accessibility and/or eco-design principles
  • 2D Motion design skills (After Effects, Principle, or similar)
  • 3D modeling and motion skills (Blender, Rhino, Unity, etc.)
  • Branding or identity work that includes digital and experiential dimensions
