The duties of the Financial Analyst include:

  • Prepare, analyse, and interpret financial statements in compliance with IFRS and regulatory requirements
  • Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures
  • Prepare financial reports for management and stakeholders
  • Assist in budget development and financial forecasting
  • Monitor budget performance and provide cost control recommendations
  • Manage cash flow and liquidity
  • Provide financial analysis and recommendations
  • Utilize financial software to streamline processes
  • Identify and implement improvements to financial systems
  • Prepare and file tax returns in compliance with regulations
  • Stay updated on tax laws to minimize liabilities
  • Collaborate with auditors during financial audits

The ideal Financial Analyst should meet the following requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
  • 5+ years of accounting experience
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal controls
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
  • Creativity and innovation in problem-solving
  • Strong work ethic and dedication to achieving goals
  • Collaboration and teamwork in a diverse environment
  • Flexibility and adaptability to change
  • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
  • Strategic thinking and long-term planning abilities
  • Office environment in Hayes with potential travel
  • Must have the right to live and work in the UK unrestricted
  • Mandatory training required
