What you’ll be responsible for:

  • Leading, motivating & developing a high-performing sales team
  • Fostering a culture of ownership, accountability, & self-organization
  • Hiring & onboarding top sales talent
  • Defining & executing regional sales strategies and activity plans
  • Setting clear goals & conducting regular performance reviews
  • Building efficient team structures
  • Strong internal communication
  • Growing & managing key client relationships at decision-maker level
  • Driving new business & market expansion opportunities
  • Leading contract negotiations & overseeing bids and tenders
  • Supporting & coaching the team in client-facing negotiations
  • Ensuring compliance with sales processes and tools
  • Acting as project sponsor for key client initiatives & implementation projects
  • Monitoring pricing, market trends & competitive developments

What you bring with you:

  • Degree in aviation, business administration or in a relevant field
  • At least 3 years of experience in leading teams, preferably in sales area
  • Working experience in/with MEA region
  • Professional experience in sales, account management or comparable positions
  • Proven negotiation skills and client management experience
  • Solid understanding of airline business processes
  • Strong leadership & team development skills
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation abilities
  • Customer-focused and service-oriented mindset
  • Fluent in English and good German skills; another MEA region related language is a plus
  • High level of initiative, resilience and flexibility
  • Strategic thinker with strong business acumen
  • Ability to drive decisions & mediate conflict
  • Experience in working effectively with diverse teams, stakeholders and functions
