    Job summary
    Amazon Web Services (AWS) enables customers of all sizes to run their applications on Amazon’s industry-leading cloud platform. The rapid growth of the business drives the need for an experienced Sales Strategy and Operations Analyst for EMEA Emerging Markets (EEM), which comprises Central and Eastern Europe, Russia and CIS countries, Middle East & Africa and Turkey. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in an exciting, fast growing business.

    We are looking for a motivated, hands-on, self-starter with excellent analytical skills who is passionate about using data to help us measure every area of the business and influence decision making. The person in this role will partner with the EEM sales teams to define, land and execute against our strategic priorities for the business. Specifically, this includes defining and executing growth strategies and initiatives based on business insights, driving annual territory planning, day-to-day execution and in close collaboration with the EMEA central operations team driving the regular quarterly, monthly and weekly rhythm of business, such as Business and Pipeline reviews and forecast. The preferred location for this position is Munich, alternatively it can be based in Dubai.
    The successful candidate is expected to act as consultant to business stakeholders, collaborate effectively with internal customers and cross-functional data teams to solve problems, implement innovative solutions, install appropriate levels of structure and control, dive deep where necessary and deliver successfully against high standards. This individual will be detail-oriented, analytical with excellent problem-solving skills and must have the ability to communicate effectively across multiple technical and non-technical business units, as well as across other geographies.


    Key job responsibilities
    Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
    • Advise Sales Leaders on definition and execution on growth strategies based on business insights.
    • Develop key sales support systems/processes required to meet the rapid growth of the business and achieve revenue attainment and market development objectives
    • Analyze data and trends and make informed recommendations to the sales teams and managers
    • Manage continuously-evolving forecast models and methodologies, owning the quantitative analysis of the performance of our sales team
    • Develop relationships and work with sales, partner, sales operations, and other stakeholders to create and refine the tools and processes needed to drive productivity increases.
    • Assist Sales Managers in all aspects of evaluating business performance
    • Identify reporting issues, gaps in processes, and drive timely resolution
    • Prepare ad hoc analysis & participate on projects as needed

    GRUNDQUALIFIKATIONEN

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or related field
    • Significant experience in Finance, Sales Operations, Business Development, or other related fields.
    • Strong Leadership skills
    • Proven experience with the development and implementation of systems/tools
    • Ability to conduct sophisticated and creative analysis of complex data and translate results into business insights with actionable deliverables, messages, and presentations
    • Exhibits sound business judgment and strategic thinking
    • Strong analytical skills, and a proven track record of taking ownership, leading data-driven analyses, and influencing results
    • Self-starter with an ability to learn new tools quickly
    • Advanced Excel skills
    • Hands-on experience of Salesforce and compensation tools e.g. Varicent
    • Excellent organization skills as well as written and verbal communication skills in German and English
