This is an internship position for our Spring/Summer Rotation, expected to start March 4, 2024 and continue through August 16, 2024 in Woodcliff Lake, NJ.The intern will have a basic understanding of how the accounting department operates by supporting the month and quarter end close. They will be able to understand the basic business processes for General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Purchasing, Asset Accounting and Bank accounting. As the intern assists with accounting functions in the sales & marketing company they will get an insight into the US business concept for the various departments such as the marketing sales department and purchasing departments. They will also assist with certain tasks for the Credit Team in helping to facilitate their day to day activity with the dealers. Key Responsibilities: Analyze various balance sheet accounts Prepare and post journal entries Reconcile the general ledger accounts details Support the Accounting team in clearing account data and research of aged account activity Join the BMW North America team and enjoy a high-performance Total Rewards package that may include: Medical Insurance All with options for $0 Employee contribution Paid Time Off in addition to Company paid holidays where eligible Hybrid work environment The hourly rate for Undergraduate students is 25.30. The hourly rate for Graduate students is 32.20.The selected student's academic level will be used to determine the final pay rate.
