Be a part of our exciting growth by expressing an interest in our Data Science intern position located in Columbus, Ohio. This is a full-time internship position for our Spring Rotation, expected to start around January 8, 2024 through May 31, 2024 in Columbus Ohio. The Data Science Intern will work with the Governance and Data Management team on AI/Data Science and/or Innovation use cases. The intern will also attend daily/weekly standups and showcase progress and successes to business and stakeholders in the areas of AI and Generative AI. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with business partners and IT departments to understand company needs and develop possible solutions Keep up to date with latest technology trends Communicate results and ideas to key decision makers Have strong foundations in software development and basis of computer science Support implementation of new statistical or other mathematical methodologies as needed for specific models or analysis Optimize joint development efforts through appropriate database use and project design Facilitate organization aspects of data and analytics symposium (Internal analytical community event) Assist data scientists within the department with process and tools to build and monitor AI models Support with software development activities Join the BMW North America team and enjoy a high-performance Total Rewards package that may include: Medical InsuranceAll with options for $0 Employee contribution Paid Time Off in addition to Company paid holidays where eligible Hybrid work environment The hourly rate for Undergraduate students is $20.00.The hourly rate for Graduate students is $24.44.The selected student's academic level will be used to determine the final pay rate.
