For the Voith US Inc., Sales department, we are looking for: Intern, Sales Western North Carolina Area Summary – The Southeast Sales Intern will help support the local sales team and customers improve processes through data input, monitoring and analysis. This position is responsible for engaging team members and systems to better understand how data is being collected, maintained and shared in the various systems employed by Voith. The Sales Intern will gain a strong understanding of Paper Machine Service, monitoring and reporting requirements as well as experience in process data collection and analysis. This position will work closely with the local sales and service team for Fabric and Roll Systems. Responsibilities – Updating routine technical service reports to improve appearance, simplify the user interface and insure they meet customer requirements. Utilize technology to develop training tools for use within FRS as well as with customer training – OnCall Visor technology, sharepoint, etc. Learn basic technical service responsibilities required for paper machine service including press moisture and perm scans, shower surveys, drainage surveys, down-day inspections, etc. Qualifications – Oral and written communication skills Interpersonal and consultative skills Analytical thinking and problem solving Being detail-oriented and capable of delivering a high level of accuracy Organizational skills High level of understanding of networks, databases and other technology Willing to travel, at least locally up to 80% of the time during the period of the internship. This will require automobile travel and regular overnight stays.
