The wireless networking of vehicles with server/cloud-based services such as RTTI (Real Time Traffic Information), with an infrastructure (mobile device, smart home, traffic management systems, etc.) and with each other is already an essential part of the premium BMW Connected Drive offering. With the ongoing development of communication and mobile technology such as 5G in terms of availability, latency and data throughput, new areas of application are constantly opening up for future connected services, e.g. in the field of IoT and autonomous driving. Our team is developing the latest generation of telematics solutions for BMW customer vehicles   What awaits you? You support project management for a telematics control unit. In doing so, you develop and create software tools for the automated creation and provision of project reports. In collaboration with colleagues, you will design project reporting and actively contribute your own ideas. Various data sources are used. You design dashboards to visualize various process variables (e.g. KPI and error tickets, etc.) within the project. They implement tool adjustments to the current development phases of the project. You get an insight into the processes of an ECU project. What should you bring along? Studying a technical or commercial orientation or a comparable qualification. Very good practical experience with Python. Good practical experience in developer tools such as git and Jira. Practical experience in SQL and database systems.
