Internship (m/f/d) - Global Strategic Procurement
Division Paper | location: Heidenheim | starting immediately for 6 months

Your Responsibilities

  • As part of your internship, you will support global strategic procurement activities.
  • You will gain insights into the day-to-day operations of strategic buyers (supplier meetings, requests, negotiations, material group strategies, master data maintenance, etc.) and actively contribute your own ideas.
  • Supporting data analysis (primarily from SAP) and the preparation of this data is part of your responsibilities, as is participation in the optimization and documentation of methods and processes.
  • In addition, you will independently develop and optimize existing templates, checklists, and procurement tools.
  • You will also be involved in project work (e.g., preparation and support of supplier days, supplier base reduction initiatives, etc.).

Your Profile

  • You are an enrolled student in engineering sciences, industrial engineering, business administration, or a comparable degree program.
  • You are interested in strategic procurement or commodity management and have a sound technical understanding.
  • An affinity for IT systems and good skills in using MS Office applications (especially Excel and PowerPoint) distinguish you.
  • Very good German and English language skills, both written and spoken, are required.
  • An analytical, independent, and structured way of thinking and working, a strong hands-on mentality, teamwork skills, initiative, and reliability complete your profile.
