As IAV’s "Key Account Manager Commercial Vehicles China" you are responsible for all sales and business development activities for all commercial vehicle (CV) customers in China. Your work is very close connected to the technical portfolios and the global account management.
- First contact for commercial vehicle customers (internal and external)
- Deep knowledge of customer strategies/visions/technologies
- Stakeholder analysis per customer and definition of aqcuisition steps
- Alignment of IAV’s global CV strategy with focus on Chinese market in close cooperation with global CV key account management
- Proactive definition of measures to increase IAV’s CV market success / stringent follow-up
- Increase IAV’s market perception in China
- Support of planning and forecasting of revenue
- Obtaining and provision of all relevant sales data
- Evaluation of customer satisfaction / definition of appropriate measures to improve market position
- Close cooperation with technical portfolios to get deep knowledge of IAV’s technical deliverables
- Regular evaluation of effectiveness of strategic measures (resp. adaptation)
- Identification, coordination and communication of major sales opportunities
- Release authority for quotes in connection with market opportunities and IAV’s deliverables
- Lead in commercial negotiations
- Supervision of CV market and competitors landscape
Your successful skillset should cover the following requirements:
- Successful completed university degree in an appropriate study
- Established network on all hierarchy levels in Chinese commercial vehicle automotive industry (OEM, Tier1, new player)
- Deep understanding of commercial vehicle technology and market needs
- Proven sales and business development experience - ideally in commercial vehicle environment
- Deep knowledge of legal conditions and quote boundaries for engineering services
- Business fluent English knowledge (ideally basic knowledge of German)
- Chinese native speaker
- Working experience in similar area for at least 10 years
- Willingness for travelling
