This is a co-op position which requires three alternating rotations (e. g. 1st rotation: Fall, 2nd rotation: Spring, 3rd rotation: Summer). The Project Management & Parts Integration Co-op will support the Parts Integration Specialist (IPT) and the Project Manager with launch related activities of current and upcoming Plant 10 Projects. The qualified co-op should expect to contribute & improve in the following functions: · Maintain milestone plans, content overviews, and other planning documents related to project launches · Generate the parts integration status presentation regularly · Arrange and steer multi-department project meetings including supporting topic resolution as appropriate · Optimization of current BMW processes & tools using Oracle APEX, RPA Bots, etc. · Lead Data Analytics Initiative to evaluate previous launches and implement improvements for future Plant 10 Projects · Improvement of prototype build list management (i.e. VBA) · Development of future BMW systems and/or KPI dashboards Qualifikation: Industrial Engineering, Data/Business Analytics, Logistics/Operations Management, Business, or International Business Major. Microsoft Office Suite (experience in Excel/PowerPoint, preferred experience in Power BI). Preferred previous Programming Experience (VBA, Matlab, R, Python, SQL etc.). Planning and organizational skills. Ability to show initiative and work independently. Effective and professional communication skills. Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major). Have full-time status at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States. Completed at least 30 credit hours at time of application. Ability to complete 3 alternating work terms for co-op positions. Ability to work full-time (40 hours / week). Transfer students must have a GPA from current university.
