API Platforms and Integration Services
[Deutsche Bank API Platforms and Integration Services team orchestrates internal and external API Platforms, portals, enabling services and embedded finance products in global level. The team is highly skilled and innovative group dedicated to developing cutting-edge solutions and services that leverage the power of APIs to drive digital transformation and enhance the banking experience for clients worldwide.
As a Lead Architect, VP, you will be responsible for contributing into API Platforms and enabling services as a senior engineer.

Your key responsibilities
The Lead Architect defines the technical and functional architecture of API platforms, portals and products in line with functional and non-functional requirements, following consistent API design patterns and best practices. A key element in this context is the translation of functional and non-functional business requirements into an appropriate technical solution design, leveraging best practices and consistent design patterns leading towards an API-driven business model
Close collaboration with Product Owners, other architects, and engineers to ensure consistent adherence to the agreed-upon application design and is responsible for maintaining an appropriate technical solutions, in sync with the relevant architecture blueprints and make sure, new functional and services are developed in a reusable context and way
Create input and building governance for API design documentation and its quality across the API Platform and Integration Services division.
Closely collaborate with architecture committee to ensure architecture compliance and make sure that any design options are discussed in a timely manner to allow sufficient time for deliberate decision taking
Ensure that the solution design is in sync with Target Architecture blueprints and principles, as well as with overarching DB architecture and security standards
Collaborate with the relevant Technology stakeholders within other squads and across tribes to ensure x-squad and x-tribe solution architecture synchronization and alignment
Your skills and experiences
Strong technical background, with demonstrable experience as Enterprise Architect
Good relationships within the Architecture Community to get a better understand of the dependencies with other applications, central solutions, tools etc.
Architecturally minded with an ability to simplify complex activities with in-depth professional experience with the application of Java, experiences in automated tests, test-driven development, REST services and the use of APIs, and a good knowledge of Oracle databases
Very good knowledge in designing/coding Microservices/Webservices with Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate
Very good knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, Swagger
Knows all facets of software development (including design patterns, modeling, modern software trends, frameworks and methods including agile)
An organized self-starter able to manage in a complex environment and a team player who continually collaborates and shares information
An excellent communicator (written & verbal) with fluent English
