The Amazon Business Team is looking for a talented and highly motivated Learning Program Manager to support our rapidly growing organization.
This role will be responsible for formulating and implementing learning and development initiatives with a primary focus on on-boarding and supporting continuous development of employees across 6 European countries and require frequent traveling up to 50%. The Learning Program Manager/Trainer will assess challenges and build performance solutions, lead the development of training best practices and standards, enable solution implementation across the Amazon Business network, and drive execution of solutions. The Learning Program Manager/Trainer will be responsible for improving new hire sales performance results with a particular focus on creating agile and scalable learning solutions. This role will work with multiple stakeholders (Sales & Marketing leadership, Product management, HR, International Learning & Development teams, etc.) to develop consistent material for base-level knowledge relevant to the entire organization, but also create content tailored to specific roles and levels.
As a key member of the European Learning & Development team, you will:
o Partner with internal customers across different levels of seniority to understand learning objectives and document learning requirements
o Travel frequently across Europe (travel up to 50%)
o Design, develop and implement blended learning solutions using tools such as Storyline, Camtasia, Animation Software and the Adobe Creative Cloud
o Own, facilitate and improve current learning and development programs, always with an eye on measureable enhancements
o Use assessments to improve trainee experience in both classroom and eLearning environments
o Perform needs and task analyses, scope projects, and evaluate existing documentation to identify gaps and then recommend appropriate modalities to meet the learning needs
o Facilitate effective learning review meetings with internal stakeholders. Develop understanding of key business drivers and ensure reporting on learning captures key input and output metrics
o Work cross functionally with Marketing, Product Management and Human Resources on ad hoc training projects and also partner with Customers Operations to scope and deliver necessary learning around process updates and new technology
o Identify and enhance adoption of new technologies that enhance learner experience and knowledge retention
1. Design and develop creative, learner-centered, performance-based educational content in multiple modalities
Own your assigned programmes end to end while contributing to team initiatives and L&D roadmap delivery
1. Basic Qualifications
o Bachelor’s degree graduate
o Excellent communication and presentation skills with experience facilitating and presenting in front of larger audiences.
o Extensive experience in a Project or Programme management role in a matrix organization; preferably within Learning and development or Human Resources teams
· Able to conceptualize technical-functional content into something creative that people actually enjoy consuming
· Experience in designing, developing and implementing blended learning solutions
o Demonstrated experience in formulating quantitative and qualitative measurements in order to implement training/performance improvement strategies, implemented across the organization
o Experience in coaching in one-to-one and team capacity on employee development and sales skills.
o Proven experience with process improvement, procedure standardization and change management applied across geographies and teams
· Ability to collaborate with Subject Matter Experts, develop storyboards and tell compelling stories in any Learning Experience
· Strong self-directed project management skills, with a very good ability to work independently
o Flexibility to travel often and within short notice - Travel Requirements: up to 50%
· Preferred Qualifications
o Master’s degree graduate, preferably in the field of Corporate Training & Development or Adult Education or Certification from ATD (CPLP or similar) or another subject specialising in HR or Employee Development.
o Previous experience in partnering/ supporting with Sales teams will be considered an asset
o Experience in designing blended solutions for Sales employees with extensive experience in the learning and development field within a large, decentralized global organization.
o Experience creating e-learning content using tools such as Storyline, Camtasia, Animation Software and the Adobe Creative Cloud
· Experience with video production, editing, and publishing
· Knowledge on UX/UI methods and best practices are beneficial
o Experience with Cornerstone, Thinking Cap or other learning management systems
o Experience in designing, developing and implementing global training programs-including considerations for localization and translation needs
o Additional language skills: German, Spanish or Italian
